Lesley Taylor started teaching dressmaking in 1984, has been an accredited sewing teacher since 1990 and qualified as a Quilt Judge with the SAQG in 2006. Lesley was a contributing writer to Craftwise Magazine for 10 years.

With her involvement in the Golden Rand Guild at various levels, including Chairlady, Lesley helped organize several quilt festivals.

With decades of experience in the fields of sewing, quilting, and embroidery, Lesley has taught classes on a wide range of disciplines and topics in homes, at quilt shows, in shops, and at expos.
