Veronika Olivier is a South African textile and mixed media artist celebrated for her richly layered, intuitive artworks that combine recycled fabrics, threads, lace, and found materials. From her historic home studio south of Johannesburg, she explores the tactile beauty of cloth through free-motion embroidery, collage, and surface manipulation – building pieces that speak to memory, creativity, and transformation.
Veronika collaborates with Bernina South Africa, showcasing the artistic power of their innovative sewing and embroidery machines through demos, workshops, and stitched art projects. She is deeply passionate about teaching and empowering other creatives, generously sharing her imaginative processes to help others unlock their own creative voice.
