Over almost 40 years Elaine has taken part in various juried exhibitions, solo exhibitions and invited artist group exhibitions, both locally and internationally including Europe, South America, USA, Canada, Ireland, England, Australia and Japan. Her fibre art has won numerous awards locally and internationally, including ‘Best on Show’ and ‘Best of Country’. Her fibre art has been published in a collection of books and magazines. She has taught extensively locally and internationally for many years including the Netherlands and Norway, sharing her techniques with other quilters and artists. Her fibre art can be viewed in private and public collections in South Africa, USA, England and the Netherlands. She is also a member of Fibreworks and the South African Quilters’ Guild (SAQG) and has been included in the SAQG Hall of Fame, as someone who has promoted quilting in South Africa and internationally.
